The Hungarian Banking Association chose our Oprisk Manager as the new loss data collecting system
The members of the HunOR Hungarian operational risk database decided in favour of Ramasoft’s Oprisk Manager solution, thus now our system is in use instead of the previously used HunOR. The specification of the functions, the operating principle, and the data structure of the software were developed according to Hungarian bank practices and regulations, and provide enhanced support for their processes.
Implementation of Varitron trading book module completed at MKB
MKB Bank replaced the Quant software it had been using so far with Varitron, which is now used for reporting purposes as well. After this implementation, Ramasoft will finish the maintenance of Quant, a software acquired from KPMG in 2002.
Live production of Varitron at Széchenyi Bank
In August 2014, after a successful test period, Varitron will be going live at Széchenyi Bank. This is accompanied by the ongoing implementation of Creditron, which allows for the quantification of capital requirements as well as the preparation of internal reports and mandatory COREP reports.
Raiffeisen Investment Fund Management Ltd. is now a Varitron user
We are welcoming a new Varitron user among our partners: the implementation of Varitron has been successfully completed at the Raiffeisen Investment Fund Management Ltd.
Oprisk implementation at FHB
Our latest product’s references persuaded FHB to join Oprisk Manager’s users. In this project, the LDC module of the software was implemented.
EIR project
The biggest challenge for Ramasoft this year is the integration of the mutual savings banks, where Varitron and Creditron have been chosen as the capital calculation engines for reporting. In the first phase, the software will be implemented for the 10 recently merged mutual savings banks (B3). Rollout to other institutions will take place afterwards.
COREP Reporting Tool
Erste Bank Hungary has chosen Creditron again as the new COREP reporting tool after a decade-long cooperation. The new tool will serve two purposes. First, COREP tables will be filled out based on RWA figures calculated at the central database in Vienna. Second, all COREP tables will be imported into Creditron to consolidate reporting into one tool.
Fundamenta has chosen Oprisk
Fundamenta chose to implement the Oprisk system to automate its processes related to operational risk. A new AMA module has been developed as an attached functionality in Oprisk. Within this project, Ramasoft implements, develops, supports and consults the system.
Training at ITCB
Our consultants were invited to take part in a professional training as lecturers by the ITCB. The topic of the training was the structure and logic of the COREP reporting tables. Our consultants introduced the content of the tables and illustrated them with examples from practice.
