Varitron launch at Concorde
We have achieved the last phase of our Varitron project at Concorde Investment Ltd., the system is working in real business environment.
Presentation in Moscow
Marton Radnai, the CEO of our company gave a lecture in Moscow at the „Seminar on Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk Management in the International Practice” organised by the International Financial Corporation. The title of his lecture was: „How a medium size bank is able to introduce an out-of-the-box system for managing interest rate and liquidity risk?” About 150 experts dealing with risk management participated in the conference.
Launch at the Serbian National Bank
An international press conference was held in Belgrade to announce that the FMIS (Financial Mangement Information System) project has been started financed by the European Union and involving HP as the primary contractor. Within the frameworks of this project our company installed the Varitron system at the Serbian National Bank. Varitron performs middle office tasks related to foreign exchange reserve management.
Launch of Varitron has started at MKB Bank
On 1st February 2009 the installation process of the Varitron system has started at MKB Bank. The project involves the implementation of the VaR calculating and the fund management modules of Varitron.
Activating the system at OTP Serbia
Varitron has started its active operation at the Serbian subsidiary of OTP Bank: the system provides the daily trading book reports according to the Serbian regulations.
First launch of Varitron at a Savings Co-operative
On 1st April 2009 the launching project of Varitron has started at Duna Savings Co-operative. The speciality of the project is that Duna Savings Co-operative is the first Savings Co-operative to use Varitron for managing risks and making trading book reports. At the kick-off meeting in Esztergom we got acquainted with the project and started the project work.
Pozitron launch has started at Erste Investment Ltd.
After the launch of netfolio.hu in last November, Pozitron, the „engine” of netfolio.hu was ordered by Erste Investment Ltd, where our first Pozitron launching project will be implemented. The project has started on 6th April 2009 with the specification phase, during which we customize the system to the needs of investment providers.
Sopron Bank – Varitron in full operation
After the long and profound testing period and the successful test run the Varitron system has been activated at Sopron Bank. The bank uses both the trading book module and the risk management module during its daily operation.
Portfolio.hu Wealth Management 2009 Conference
The Portfolio.hu Wealth Management Conference was organized this year as well, on which our CEO, Dr Marton Radnai participated as a lecturer. In his afternoon session Marton presented the experiences about the rating of Hungarian investment funds to be reached at netfolio.hu.
Activating Varitron at Duna Savings Co-operative
Our project has come to an end at Duna Savings Co-operative. The system has started its active operation on 10th August 2009.
Professional Day
This year the Professional Day was organized in InterContinental Hotel in Budapest. We introduced the latest information about the calculation of capital requirements and review the tasks related to this in our systems (Varitron, Quant, Creditron). The participants could get the latest information about the Pozitron asset management front-office, consulting and risk management system and the netfolio.hu website as well. The event gave an opportunity to celebrate the 10th birthday of Varitron software and to surprise the developers of Varitron and the guests with a huge cake.
Testing of Pozitron starts at Erste Investment Ltd.
Thanks to the enduring work of project members, the specification and the development of the new Pozitron functions and the integration with the other systems have been completed. The test can start.
